BOWDITCH-PACIFIC PRINCIPALS
Bowditch-Pacific’s
principals are Robert D. Levy and Charles H. McKeown, career
transportation executives with 45
years of combined experience.
Robert D. Levy
Before founding Bowditch-Pacific, Mr. Levy was a partner
and director with Transdevelopment Corporation (Atlanta,
Portland, Mexico City and London) responsible for a number
of national-scale transportation development and consulting
projects and Transdevelopment’s subsidiary North American
Terminals Corporation, the firm’s project finance entity.
At the Port of Los Angeles, Mr. Levy was Assistant Director
of International Marketing and the Port’s Rail Services
Manager. He was also Managing Director for Convergent Technology
Group, Inc. a financial advisory firm in Seattle, where he
led an M&A practice focused on supply chain management
and manufacturing technology companies. Prior to Convergent,
Mr. Levy was Vice President at AMEC plc. a UK-based global
design, supply chain management and plant services firm.
Mr. Levy received an M.A. in Transportation and a Management
Certificate in Business Administration from the University
of Washington and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
Charles H. McKeown
Mr. McKeown began his transportation career as General Manager
of the Port of Portland (Oregon) Shipyard. He later became
Vice President & General Manager of Industrial Development
Resources, a division of Wright-Schucart of Seattle where
he started and led a value-added services program for industrial
and transportation development projects, including the design
and construction of several freight rail facilities. He
founded
and for fifteen years served as Chairman and CEO of Transdevelopment
Corporation, a transportation assets development company
providing facility development, operations and project management
support
to the freight transportation industry in the U.S., Canada,
South America and Europe. He is a leading authority on import
and domestic automotive industry logistics. Mr. McKeown
served in the U.S. Navy as a surface warfare officer with service
in Vietnam and has an MBA and a BS degree from Oregon State
University.
